Can't choose which GPU is better ??

I am choosing between those 2 beasts:
ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 ROG STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming - GV-N1080G1 GAMING-8GD
Basically I know they're pretty good, and when it comes to the price, Gigabyte is cheaper. I do not care about the RGB of the ASUS though.
I got a Gigabyte motherboard so maybe this is a reason to stick with the same brand.
I heard that ASUS got more softwares to control the GPU than Gygabyte but I do not know if it's that much of advantage compared to the gigabyte one...
I would like to know which one to choose and why is this better ??
When it comes to FPS, the difference is meaningless.

I'd go with the cheapest decently cooled card. if that's the Gigabyte, go with the Gigabyte
if it's a PNY or Palit, go with those
no need really to spend extra

I would get the Gigabyte the software means nothing.
