Hi guys, I'm unable to clear the CMOS on my Asrock Extreme 3 z77 board. I went to update the bios, and the computer shut down in the middle of the update, and now it will only turn on but nothing comes onto the screen. I have tried clearing the CMOS by unplugging the power cord, waiting 15 seconds, then moving the CMOS pin jumper from the default 1-2 position to the clear CMOS 2-3 position. I then waited 5 seconds and proceeded to hold down the computers power button for 15 seconds. After all of this, I put the jumper back to the default position, plugged back in the power cord, and powered on the computer to no avail. So that method didn't work, and I tried it several times. I also tried taking out the CMOS battery for a half an hour and putting it back it, but that also did not work. I have replugged in all of the cords to make sure they are plugged in correctly.

Solution
not good .. best I remember if you stop the bios flash before its complete its most times bricked ... I don't see any recovery tool and seems you don't have a duel/backup bios .. now you may contact asrock for this from them if all else fails to get it going
