Can't click on anything in minecraft.

When I hover my mouse over the "Play" button it turns blue, but when I click nothing happens.

Would be awesome if someone could tell me a fix, or the cause of it happening. Thanks.

Have you tried re-installing minecraft?

An answer would be nice. I'm having the same issue, but one step further into the startup process. I can't click on anything once I get into minecraft.
