Can't clip AM3 Heatsink

Hi, so I'm trying to to clip my amd fx-8350 heatsink to my MSI motherboard, but can only get one clip on, the other one I would have to push down with excessive force to latch? Has anyone had this issue before?

The clips should line up but sometimes you have to use some force.
