Can't connect another monitor.

I ha e two moniters. Right now one monitor works, its DVI connected to my GPU (Nvidia Gtx 960). My other monitor won't connect and it states the message "entering power save mode." Although, it is connected to the computer as their is no message stating that there is no cable. Finally, I've been trying multiple ports Motherboard and GPU. Only the GPU DVI actually sends signals to either the monitor.

I forgot to add. I even tried using a Display port - HDMI adapter and still got the same message of "power save mode"
