Hello,

I can connect to and use the 2.4G setting but not the 5G one. I currently have a Asus Windows 10 laptop, iPhone 6S, and smart scale, but I want to move either the laptop or iPhone to the 5G one.

I've been through the settings on routerlogin.net and have selected Enable SSID Broadcast, Iv'e tried with the security set to None, channel is set to Auto, and selected Europe as my region. Basically everything the same as the working 2.4G apart from SSID and password, however neither laptop or phone can find or log in to the 5G connection.

Also the routerlogin.net or .com site does't seem to function properly in either Opera or Chrome because the links down the left don't open and I have to select open in new tab.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure what I've done but something has gone really wrong. I rebooted the router and I could see the 5G connection on my iPhone so I connected to it but didn't have any internet, and so I connected back to the 2.4 one but still I can't get any internet. Worse still my laptop won't connect to the original 2.4 signal either. What a mess.

I unplugged everything that didn't work, I reset the router and it's saying PPPoA DSL Internet Connection Detected, and for a login name and password but I'm not sure what username and password it wants?

Finally got it all working via another browser, including connecting my iPhone to the 5 Ghz; for some reason it wouldn't accept my username and password using Opera. The Netgear site seems to be displaying and functioning properly as well so maybe the reset did some good all round.
Cheers.

Well I went in and changed the name and password of the 2.4 and 5 connections and my iPhone works on the 5G which is what I wanted but my laptop says it can't connect to the 2.4 one. Anymore suggestions?

Thanks again.
