Hello,
I cant connect my Galaxy S3 Neo phone to my Windows 10 PC via an USB cable. It worked before but - presumably after a Windows 10 update - it randomly stopped working. Ive tried a lot of "solutions" found on the internet, but nothing seems to help me.
Ive tried the following:
1. Ive tried 3 different cables, they all work on my laptop but not my PC
2. Ive tried different USB ports
3. I ran Windows troubleshooter
4. Ive manually installed the MTP drivers
5. Ive manually installed the S3 Neo drivers
6. Ive manually installed the Media Feature Pack
7. I tried installing the MTP driver with Driver Talent
8. I tried rebooting my phone
9. I tried rebooting my PC (a lot)
10. I removed my SD card and cleaned my phone
11. I made sure my phone was on MTP mode
The following info might be useful:
1. I have Windows 10 64x
2. 1151 pin variant
3. Android version 4.4.2 (Kitkat)
4. Windows is up-to-date
5. Phone is up-to-date
The solution is probably stupidly simple and obvious, but I just cant find whats wrong. I feel like it has something to do with the drivers, as the troubleshooter did say the MTP drivers arent installed, but the troubleshooter doesnt install them, Driver Talent doesnt install them, and even after manually installing it, troubleshooter is still saying I dont have MTP drivers.
Anyone with a solution?
