After doing this http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/
I can no longer connect to any games.

I first tried this because Battlefield 4 was saying "Check your network connection and make sure that port 3659 (UDP) is open"

Anyone able to help me?

just wondering what issues caused you to flush your DNS to begin with? I know of no one that would do that without having connection issues to begin with, so it seems like your leaving information out. also after flushing ports you might have to go into your firewall and "open" the port up. it could be on your computer or router firewall

Battlefield wasn't connecting to servers, and I googled "Check your network connection and make sure that port 3659 (UDP) is open" and that was the suggestion for a fix so I tried it.

Ive also tried resetting my router

Downloading a smart port forwarding app

Ive also tried this "Maybe this can help (This won't change your router configurations , don't worry)
Not sure if this works on win 8 but it probably should.
1. Open the run command.
2. Type this exact same line in the run box - netsh int ip reset
3. Restart the computer.
4. Open run command again.
5. Type this exact same line - netsh winsock reset
6. Restart the computer again.
Now try connecting.
These are just some basic steps that I know but if this doesn't work then I really can't help you.
If you are wondering what they do then the first one resets the internet protocol (TCP/IP) and the second one resets your winsock entries "
