Can't connect to any site except Google, Youtube, or other Google properties (using coffeehouse Wi-Fi)

What WORKED for me was clicking "Renew DHCP Lease". I'm on a Mac, and got to that option by:
System Preferences -> Network -> Advanced -> TCP/IP
It might also help to turn Wi-Fi off for 10 seconds, then on again

Solution
Google, youtube, and a handful of other sites have starting using IPv6 addresses as well as IPv4. Much of the rest of the internet only uses IPv4. Sounds like what happened is you got an IPv6 address, but not a IPv4 one. Renewing your DHCP will go and request a new address (or renew the one you have) and as long as things are working it fixes the issue.
