[SOLVED] Cant connect to game servers and game sites

Lately ive been having problems connecting to some games, like r6s or gta 5. I just keep connecting to the servers, even launchers and always get errors. When i try going on rockstar support i also get the classic ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. I tried restarting the router, my pc, reinstalling, changing dns settings, adapter settings, windows diagnose systems but no help. My friend who lives a bit further away has no problems even tho we have the same internet provider. Only time i can connect to the sites/launchers is if i turn on a vpn. Any ideas?

Maybe try to disable IPv6.

You could try a tracert to the location and see where it drops.

i reset my entire pc and that seemed to fix the problem, might have been malware but i didnt get anything from my antivirus so its strange
