I have two games that I have this problem in particular.

1.Nether: I cannot see any servers in the list
2.Rust: Just bought today, and also cannot see any servers. I also cannot directly connect to any servers when typing in the IP address command

I've disabled my firewall, reset all my internet/network settings to default, disabled anti-virus, and restarted both Steam and my computer multiple times.

My brother, who is on the same router (but wirelessly, while I'm connected through wire) can connect and see servers in both the mentioned games just fine.

I'm not sure what else to try. I just bought one of the games, and I can't even play it.

Yes, using the internet is fine. Games like Titanfall, which don't require me to pick a server, work fine as well.

We are using the same version. We both bought separate copies, on separate Steam accounts. He can get on with no issues, while I cannot even see the servers.

I went through numerous possible solutions this morning. I do not know which one fixed it.

1. I reset all my routers settings to default
2. I disabled my Constant Guard settings
3. I REenabled my anti-virus (apparently I downloaded it, but it never starts up by itself. I didn't know until now)

Now servers pop up fine and I can join them.
