Hey all, I have windows 8 and just did a pc wipe (I still have all my old files in windows.old)

I started and restarted my computer but it says there are no connections available and I know there of course are. I am using a wireless router and have a wireless card in my computer. I don't really have access to an Ethernet cable.

Why does it say no connections available? I don't have the old wireless card install cd. Could it be that it no longer is installed even though I transferred the old folder over? It won't let me open the wireless card application either.

Thanks

I think it's a ralink rt6x. How do I get the drivers though if I can't connect to Internet? Also, I checked under view devices and printers, and then clicked my pc, hardware, and found the wireless card. It's called Realtek pcie gbe family controller, and it installed the drivers though they are from 2011

I borrowed my roommates USB wireless and it connects to the Internet. I try and use windows to update my ralink drivers and it says they are up to date. Can someone please help me?
