cant connect to internet because missing internet protocols or ethernet cable unplugged

Hi Guys i have a problem with my network. When i connect it says i am missing over or more internet protocols and wont get past identifying.
When i used ethernet cable it just said unidentified network
Then i tried reseting the router and wifi is the same but when using ethernet cable it says cable is unplugged.
It is wrong on 2 pcs one with windows 7 and the other windows 10
I am really lost herefter Guys som Any help is mach apriciaeted.

Need more details, has this always done this on the computers? Have you tried a different network cable? Does it work directly on the modem without the router?
