Can't connect to internet because of login!

Hello,
i put in a username & password after you login to your user account. i dont know what it was for but now i cant connect to the internet.it brings the login up but says what i put in is wrong. please help. i want to take this off

i'm a little confused on what your trying to log in to?
is it your router?

If its a windows prompt, i would try doing a repair of the OS from the installation disk
(insert disk, restart OS and boot the the DVD, after language select click repair)
