Can't connect to internet on new PC build

I recently built my first PC. All together it was right around 1500 and I finished putting it together the other day. Everythig works fine but I can't connect to the internet... I have a network card and a Ethernet cable from my wall but neither work... It says something about not having the drives for it.

I have not downloaded the CDs my motherboard came with onto my PC because I don't have a DVD drive on my build.

I am beyond willing to buy a DVD drive if that is the problem tho... Someone please help. I didn't waste all this money to have a PC with no internet

If you find your motherboard's webpage you'll be able to download the drivers from there. 😉

Thats a nightmare, having to download lan drivers to make your lan work, but to download them, your lan must be working, its like an infernal loop lol. Anyway, do what NiCoM says. If you dont have another pc to do that ask someone to do it for you.
