Can't connect to pc

Hello Guys,

I am trying to connect to the PC via the run tool using it's IP address. When I try to connect it presents me with this error message: \address is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. The specified server cannot perform the requisition operation.

I am at a complete loss as I have deleted cached passwords on the machine but it still won't get to the credential stage. the pc I am trying to connect to is a windows 7 machine from a Windows XP machine.

Do you have any ideas?

Try theese commands:

ping remote-machine-name
net view \\remote-machine-name

(you can use remote machine IP address as well)
