Can't connect to the Internet despite it saying its connected

My laptop says its connected to the Internet but I can't access anything. I know it's this laptop as my phone and other pc's connect fine. I have tried system restore and checked many settings but nothing works. Any help would be vastly appreciated. My operating system is windows 7
