Question Can't connect to Vm with remote desktop

Hello,
It might be quite a newbie question.
So right now I'm working on connecting remotely from the host computer to the virtual machine with RDP.
However the IP addresses are the same.
How can I set a different IP address to my VM? It's a Linux.

Would it be easier to just change your IP address? How do they get an IP? DHCP? If so, you could set up a reserved IP in the DHCP scope
