Cant connect to wi-fi

Hello,i have a hp pavillion lap top which has recently been serviced. after this i cannnot connect to the internet at all even via ethernet. i've ben back to the shop and the guy connected immedately. however on my return i cannot connect to virgin or my sky router

Error messages? Is it looking for a network key you need to enter? Although the wired ethernet should be working with no issues. Do an ipconfig command at a DOS prompt, what IP to you get?

Did they maybe change the proxy settings on the web browser?
