Question Can't create a partition on my hdd

I have a 2.5" 500GB Segate HDD(st500lt012-1dg142). I was normally using it then Windows crashed to a blue screen(don't remember the error code). Then I rebooted to a live Linux USB and my HDD was showing as 4 GB and unallocated. I tried t create a new partition but didn't work.

In most distros, there is a tool called "Disks". Open this tool, and you'll find a drop-down menu to retrieve the S.M.A.R.T. data from the disk. Please get those and post thee result here.

What tool? GParted? Excactly HOW did it not work? Error messages?
