During installation of win7 64 i am unable to create more than 3 partitions. 3 are primary but when i click on left unallocated space(215gb around, i have WD-500gb) it does not shows me any option like extend/ New. I want two equal volume/or atleast one big volume from it (primary/ logical any but do not want to have dynamic) please help.
Thanks

First of all, ask yourself do you really need so many (by todays standards) small partitions.

I seem to recall that there was a limit to the number of real partitions that was perhaps 4 (maybe 3) and to get more than that you end up having to create a logical partitions inside an extended partition. So the answer might be what you do with the partition, and then break that down.
