A while ago I cleared my harddrive and deleted all partitions, after getting my pc fixed months later i tried installing windows 10. But when going to install it says "we couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the setup log files". I've been struggling the last 24 hours trying to install this through USB, any help appreciated

Try viewing and deleting all partitions on another computer through an application like Aomei partition assistant. I had the same issue where a client complained of issues and I could not do Windows updates or reinstall Windows 10. After I deleted the whole drive it allowed for a new Windows 10 install.

I used the media creation that it gives when downloading and it downloads straight to the USB and cleans everything up

Greetings, Mike:

I think you have the option to select a drive and click Delete and then Format. But I'm not entirely sure if these options are greyed out in your situation. If so, you may have to enlist the help of a friend's PC to perform a Diskpart on your harddisk.

Cheers,
