Question cant decide between 144hz and 240hz

I'm building a pc ( RTX 2080, i7-8700 , 16gb ram , 500gb ssd and 3TB hdd)
I wish to create content and play the latest titles ( prioritsing battle royale and other competitive games)
I cant decide between monitors 2560px1920p at 144hz and 1920x1080p at 240hz

pricelist ( on 23rd April,2019)

Acer KG127C - 27" 1080p@144hz Rs 18000/- (257 usd)
Benq Zowie XL2546 - 24.5" - 1080p@240hz- Rs 38000/- (544 usd) or ACER KG127B -27" 1080p@240hz 28000/- (401 USD)
Asus PG279Q- 27" 1440p@144HZ - Rs 49000/- (702 usd) ( CHEAPEST 2K 144HZ monitor)

The setup up to 120-144Hz (from 60Hz) is noticeable, and substantial. Stepping up again, beyond 144Hz has less of a 'noticeable' factor.

With a 2080, I think 1440p is a nice spot.

27" 1440p 144Hz can be had for 33,000 Rs. / $475 or 35,000 Rs / $510..

If you are looking at a 1440p @ 144Hz at that price you might as well look at a 3440x1440 @ 100+Hz monitor. Even a 2080 will have trouble maxing out a 1440p @ 144Hz in most current AAA titles. The added 33% of pixels on the ultrawide will make up for the lower refresh rate all while making your gaming and content creation experience much better.
