Hey Everyone,

I'm building a rig using the Asus P8H61-I REV 3.0 (Mini-Itx). I've got all of my components picked out instead of ram.

Here's what I've narrowed it down to:

Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226095&Tpk=996770

Crucial Ballistix sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Maybe Patriot but I've heard that they are dishonest about their voltage specs? I've heard good things about Mushkin, I couldn't find my mobo on their website so I e-mailed one of their techs and he said the above listed kit was a " pretty good match" for my mobo.

Crucial on the other hand guarantees compatibility. I just want to pop the kit in and have it run at advertised timings (mobo takes 1333). It seems that a year or so ago Crucial had quality control issued with their ballistix memory. Is this true? Are they still a quality brand? Thank you.

Solution
Either one will do fine, they both have the exact same listed timings and voltage. Just go with whichever one looks better in your build.
