Cant decide between GTX 1080 or GTX 1070ti

Cant decide between these two cards not exactly sure which is better for me or how to tell, Also if you know of any other brands or models of these gpu's please dont hesitate to recommend me some. Thanks!

Generally speaking, you're <10% "better" with a 1080 over a 1070TI.

A 1070TI can be overclocked to rival a stock 1080, but the 1080 can be overclocked to open up the gap again.

To me, it boils down to price.

The cheapest 1070TI today is $450 USD - Zotac Mini.

The cheapest 1080 is also from Zotac - Amp Extreme.... $490 USD

So, for about 9% more money, you get a card (roughly) proportionately faster.... which can OC beyond that.

Based on prices I see today, I'd opt for a 1080.

Do you have Amazon Prime? Wait 5 days and see if a 1070ti or 1080 are on sale during Amazon prime days.
