Hi,

I am planning to build a gaming cafe here in our place (Philippines).

Now, gamers play only DOTA2 & Ros (Rules of Survival) and I want a stable or solid FPS of 50fps or more. And I don't know what is the best specs..

I am thinking of;

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
ASUS P5G41T-M LX3 (Or if you have a recommended gaming MoBo)
8GB RAM 1333MHz (1x8 or 2x4)

Can't decide for the GPU;

  • GT 730 1GB DDR5 64BIT/128BIT
    GT 730 2GB DDR3 128BIT
    GT 740 1GB DDR3 128BIT
    GT 740 2GB DDR3 128BIT
OR

AMD A6-6400k or 7400k
MSI/ASUS A68/A70 (Can't decide which is the best)
4GB RAM 1600MHz or 8GB RAM (1x8 or 2x4)

My budget is enough for this kind of system specs.

Thanks!

This set up would mean you wouldnt need to buy a dedicated graphics card, the APU will perform better than those graphics GPUs you've listed.

Thanks for the recommendation this is a good system but my budget is really enough for my given specs. All I want to know is which is the best.

Thanks

Ok well the AMD 7400 is your best bet (see comparision here - https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/AMD-A6-7400K-APU-vs-Intel-Core2-Duo-E8400/2392vs955)

I dont know which models of boards you are looking at but the ASUS generally have the better BIOS control.

I see in the comparison that AMD 7400 is best than C2D. But if I will add a GPU (one listed above), which is the best that gives a better fps?

AMD A6-7400k vs Core2Duo E8400 + GPU (one listed above)?

Thanks

Can you actually go for a amd Athlon 200GE cpu with a A320 mobo? Go for 2x4gb ram setup of 2666mhz models.

For gpu, can you try for a Radeon rx550?

The prices for the parts I mentioned above are about the same to the ones you mentioned in the US, dunno if it's the same in your place.

No, that too much expensive, A320 mobo + Athlon 200GE is equivalent for a AMD A6-6400k SET with monitor.

RX550 is expensive here in our place..

Actually, All I just want to know which is the best to my given specs no need to recommend for another specs because of my tight budget.

Thanks

Actually sir, All I want to bought is MOBO & PROC in Brandnew, and other parts is in second-hand or used but in a good condition. So that I want to know which is the best.

C2D E8400 + GPU (listed above) or an AMD with a onboard graphics?

Thanks

The 7400k with gt740 2gb along with 2x4gb rams in a a70 mobo it is then.

But I don't think it will give solid 50fps in high settings at 720/1080p in DotA2. I used to play dota in a laptop with a8 7300 and R6 265 gpu. Can't even play phantom Lancer cuz those illusuons proc after lvl 6 is too much constant load on the cpu lol.

Go with Cheap AMD a8 9600 APU (good enough to play Call of duty WW2 at 30 FPS at low settings with 8GB RAM (I assembled for my friend)

Here it's specs.
1x8 GB Crucial DDR4 2133Mhz UDIMM
Gigabyte A320M
AMD A8 9600
Seagate momentus thin (old laptop hard disk)
Circle 400 watt PSU (cheap one)
And a Cheap Cabinet.

All from amazon at 200 USD in India about 15000 rupees (I am Indian Tough)

Thank you sir for your recommendation.

But if I will buy this specs, I can only purchase 3 sets not like in my given specs.. I can purchase 5-6 sets.
I will just buy this specs if my given specs is only for low settings.

Thank you sir!

Thank you much sir for this system specs, have you try this running in DOTA2 & RoS in (mid or low) settings, how much FPS do you get?
In our place no one is playing GTA V.

Which is the best processor, C2D or C2Q?

Thanks again!

Motherboard --- ASUS P5G41T-m LX3
R A M ----------- 3GB 1333MHz Kingston (1x1 , 1x2)

F P S :

DOTA 2 -------- LOW ---- 80 - 105 FPS
DOTA 2 -------- MED ---- 60 - 800 FPS

RoS ---------- 30 - 50 FPS

It's playable now, maybe I will upgrade the GPU sooner.

Thanks a lot sir.
