Question Cant decide on a cpu for my new build. 3 options im stuck on.

I'm going AMD with my build my options are: Ryzen 7 3700x, Ryzen 7 3800x, or the big daddy r9 3900x. I will be gaming and streaming with the CPU I pick!

First thing to ask is budget. They should all be decent for gaming. But if you go cheaper on the cpu for example, that allows you to up the budget for a better graphics card which will make more difference in gaming today.

What @ohio_buckeye said considering the budget and what type of tasks are more important for you, gaming & streaming (tends to more graphics card power), video editing and photoshop (more multi-core CPU dependent).
Check also the YouTube for recent benchmarks between 3700x vs 3800x vs 3900x.

Ryzen 7 3700x will give you best value for money short term but r9 3900x will probably give you better value for money longer term (you won't need to replace it so soon to maintain performance).

If all three are in budget and you're not sacrificing quality in other components to choose the r9 3900x, why wouldn't you choose it - it's clearly the processor you want to have!

Won't do badly with any one of these.

If you already have that, then all 3 of those cpus are good. Buy the best one you can afford and are comfortable with.
