Can't decide what path I want to take in IT

I know that I definitely want a career in IT, but I can't decide what I want to specialise in. I love building computers, fixing problems, researching new products and just technology in general. However, I also find programming fun, enjoy mucking around with our home network and just everything really. I can't knuckle down and just pick one. I'm only year 11, but i want to start deciding fairly soon to start preparing. Any ideas on how I can decide? Like is there an IT career path quiz or something lol

I, erm... no.

You should just be able to go with a general computer science major in college, and then from there you can decide what certifications to get to set you down a particular path.

Going into advanced IT can land you a spot as an IT specialist for a big company. You would design, build, and trouble shoot computers for the place you worked. I am also on par with you, but I don't care much for programing. I am going into computer IT at a tech college.
