Question Can't decide which PSU to buy.

Corsair CX 450w.

The Seasonic S12-III isn't actually built by Seasonic, it got subcontracted out to RSY, so take it on faith that while it meets Seasonic standards, it does so at a minimum, not the excellence Seasonic built units generally have. It's also basically nothing more than a revamp of the older S12-II models, some minor changes in design. I'd honestly have more faith in the older, tried and true S/M12-II models.

The Corsair CX450 is a new DC/DC design, which are built for modern pc requirements, which are mostly 12v reliant, ultra low power managed. It's a lot newer, and honestly more reliable unit than the S12-III, better protections, better voltage outputs, better pc stability. In Corsair models, it's VS-CXM-CV-CX.... So plenty above bottom of the barrel model.
