I'm trying to permanently remove an old Windows directory from my desktop to get the disk space. I give it administration privileges and everything goes well until it gets to a file called bootmgr. At that time it says it needs permission from Trustedinstaller. What is that and how do I get rid of this directory? Administrator is the owner of the directory.

If you want to boot into Windows, then I suggest you leave this alone.

Found that 'storage sense' has an option to delete old versions of windows and it worked. I'll also download windirstat. thanks.
