So i recently purchased a new 480GB SSD, mirrored my old 500GB HDD to it then upgraded Windows 10.
On said old HDD I had a 60GBish C Drive partition which had the OS, programs and a D Drive which had everything else music, films, documents, steam library etc.
The C drive on the SSD is now very full and would like to do away with having two partitions and have OS, programs, games library, documents all in ONE partition on the SSD and then keep films/music on my old HDD
I found out i couldn't enlarge the C Drive without deleting the D Drive partition altogether so I have backed up its entirety in two places however:
1 The D Drive still shows 20.3 GB of used space despite having no files, folders or hidden folders when viewed in file explorer
2. Disk management wont allow me to shrink anymore than to 193 GB, or format or delete. I can right click the D Drive in My Computer however at the very end of confirming a message states 'Quit any disk utilites or other programs that are using this drive, make sure no window is displaying the contents...' this is when all disk management programs are closed
3. Have downloaded a free trial of EaseUS and it does not allow me to merge C Drive and D Drive
What can I do? If no one has an answer I'm thinking maybe I could make a recovery image or something then do a fresh install, maybe then I could reset the sizes of the partitions?

UPDATE
Okay i realised that EaseUS Partition Master was able to delete partition ( D: ) and after a short restart its gone woooh!
BUT I still cant friggin enlarge ( C: ) Im guessing it because there's 450 MB space labelled Recovery Partition in the way of the the unallocated space. Is this correct?
In windows disk management I cant seem to delete it but I could probably do so in EaseUS, is this a good idea as in will it f something up if I do?
