I have some video files with some information added to details including a title. I want to change or delete the details or atleast the title on the properties menu.

Already tried F2 and using the Remove properties and personal information option. No luck. Is there a way to force clear this info or any open source programs i can use to do so?

If the video is a supported format (avi, mp4, etc), you should be able to right click on the file and change most properties (except of course length, bitrate, etc). If it's still giving you problems you might need something like mp4box to repackage the file.

Tried unselecting "Read-only" under file's properties?

You will need a small third party application called MKVToolNix. Ensure you have unchecked 'Read Only' and 'Archive' on your file properties before loading it in to the tool. After opening the tool follow the video in the link below. That will be it, you are now good to go.
Note: The download link will provide the latest version of the tool than what is shown in the tutorial, just follow the technique in your latest version. Enjoy!

FYI - A recent update in Windows 10 is preventing the "Remove Properties and Personal Information" box to appear, even if the "Read only" box has been unchecked. MKVToolNix still works, but haven't yet figured the way to get the 'Remove Properties" box to appear when clicking on the link at the bottom of the file Properties 'Details' tab.
