Can't detect seagate hard drive

When i connected the usb, the light isn't blinking and my computer cannot read my hard drive. this has never happened before :/

Does the usb drive have power to it?

so how do i get it to power up? :/ i tried inserting it on another laptop and it worked dont know why it wont work on mine

you need to connect the hard drive via a sata cable for desktop
