Question Can't determine CPU or MB is dead

Hello,

So I spilled water on my PC, (half cup) right on top of PSU fan and fried the PSU immediately. I don't think there is water spilled on MB.

I found another PSU and tested, the CPU fan was turning at normal speed (no noise). There is no signal to the monitor. Before, every time I turned on the PC, the CPU fan roared. I don't have any thing to test MB sound, there is no LED on the MB, too.

Do you know know whether the problem is the CPU or the MB. Thanks,

Unplug the pc from the wall, press the power on button and hold it for 10 seconds, pull the cmos battery from the motherboard. Let it sit for ten minutes. Replace the cmos battery, plug in to wall and try to power on and see if it posts.
