Can't Disable Integrated Graphics

So recently I bought an Alienware 15r3 (Laptop) with windows 10 (64x), an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060(6GVM,GDDR5) graphics card, Intel CORE i7-7700HQ ((2.80-3.80GHz)(Intel HD 630) processor, 16gb RAM
but no matter what I do, I've gone into BIOS there's no option under ANY tab to control what graphics the PC is using but under the basic/info tab it says and is registering both the integrated Intel HD graphics as integrated and the NVIDIA GTX1060 as Discrete graphics #1 I've tried disabling it in the display drivers options, which disables it and I still have monitor visuals but it still uses the Intel HD graphics somehow, I went into the Nvidia control panel and I have no drop down to set the prefered graphics card/adapter, There is definitely no activity from it when I'm gaming ,I've updated the bios/drivers/any and everything else that was posted anywhere to absolutely no avail. So I've tried literally everything I've googled and googled and I cannot find a solution. anyone have any ideas? I'm just trying to play games with a real fps over an avg. of 22fps. Try the power settings in control panel, set it to high performance and see if that helps.

Are there any chipset drivers/ general software listed on Alienware's site for this laptop? Sometimes drivers from the manufacturer are needed for custom hardware implementations.

You absolutely don't want to be disabling the Intel integrated GPU as Windows needs it. That's totally the wrong way to go about it on a dual/switchable graphics laptop.

(you can disable it in Device Manager but you'll wish you hadn't so don't do it!)

In Nvidia Control Panel, you need to be in Manage 3D Settings >> Program Settings.

Alternatively, you can right-click a game or graphics app shortcut, then pick "Run with graphics processor......" in the context-menu to choose preferred GPU for that game or app.

So I achieved switching between GPU's by downloading and using CPUZ(going into the preferences file and enabling preferability between gpu's) and with MSI Afterburner, I know my Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 is in use, but I'm still getting super low FPS' as if it wasn't. I don't have the option to 'run with' Nvidia Graphics, Integrated Graphics still enabled.I've checked the Delland Alienware sites and there aren't any special drivers to be installed? So now I assume I look for a new thread because I have a different question..?
