I paid for premium Skype service, I tried to DL from Skype site, the program I'm trying to DL atm is just for a game, I've used it before, it's safe, I don't DL just anything-

tried to DL It 5 times, just fails everytime, same with my fortunehunter DL

Fortunehunter is free, Skype is free, I just mentioned the fact that I had paid for premium services and I can't even DL the program

I have tried to DL Skype 5x and fortune hunter 2x, that's it, there's nothing else to share, I don't even get an error code or something specific to search for, just the window alert seen above

I lowered all my security settings for the 5 minute period when I retried the fortunehunter DL, didn't do anything, restarted my comp and nothing

Hello... well maybe where it's trying to download to your computer Got deleted? do you remember deleting a directory? if not... check to make sure where it's tring to download too exists, or change the location to Download too one that does exists.

I didn't delete a directory and I'm downloading it where I had it before-

Can you download other kinds of files or is it just zip files your system objects to?

Try to download 'uTorrent' for example. I know that that comes as an exe file.

You don't have to run it, just see if it will download.

I've tried different locations, nothing works

I haven't installed any new programs, my virus protection hasn't changed, my browser settings haven't changed, I've only tried to DL Skype and Fortunehunter which I've used many times before and know it to be safe. Don't know how long it's been like this, didn't know about it until yesterday after my failed Skype downloads

And a virus scan, from a boot CD from one of the major anti-virus companies?
Kaspersky or similar.
