Can't download new GPU drivers

Hey guys,

So I just recently bought a new GTX 1060 to replace my old R9 270. The removal and installation process went fine, and then I went to boot up my computer. The resolution was off but that was an easy fix but I have a big problem. I need to download the drivers to use my new GPU but the website for NVIDIA will not load. It has nothing to do with my internet connection but it just says Nvidia.com took too long to respond. Using the CD is not an option because I don't have a reader. Idk if this problem is because of the GPU or what but I need help please

Too late now but always a good idea to d/l drivers BEFORE making any changes.

1. Is this where you are downloading from ?

2, The site is up and no problems here.

3. Any other PCs you can try ? ... copy to a USB stick ?

4. Geforce Experience will get drivers for you ... you have access to that ?

5. BTW, 1st thing you should do is disable Windoze ability to install Hardware drivers.

If you have trouble installing, uninstall all drivers .... all things AMD or nVidia having to do w/ Graphics. Then a registry cleaner (CCleaner) can be used to remove all references to AMD / nvidia GFX drivers ... remove nothing else.

A reboot and then install should work.

I have no other computer to download the drivers with. I've tried rebooting and clearing cookies and everything but still get the message saying "Can't reach web page Nvidia.com took too long to respond". This issue persists with every web site except of youtube (can watch all videos fine) and google searches (can see search results but clicking on them gives said error). I'm really starting to get frustrated now because I spent a lot of my hard earned money on this only to be halted by this bull shit.

I have the same questions as before tho ...

1. What link are you using to get the drivers ? If one doesn't work, try another.

2. Have you tried GFE ?

3. Have you disabled Windows ability to install hardware drivers ?

4. Have you uninstalled drivers after doing item 3 above ?
