Can't download/update apps from google play store

The phone that I'm using is Just5 Spacer
It's running on android 4.2.2
My SD card has 1.5GB free memory and phone's internal memory has 86MB free memory.
I'm trying to update an app that's 28MB.
Usually clearing the cache lets me download/update but it's not working anymore.
My phone was rooted but I "unrooted" it a couple of months ago.

That is a bit too low of a free memory to download apps, even if it technically will fit. Remove another program or 2 and see if it will work then.

Deleted a 20MB app, still didn't let me update.
I reset google play store to factory state and then it let me update.
