Question Can't edit or assess C drive when real time protection is on

I don't know what happened but just this past week i realized i couldn't edit or save folders or files on my C drive including my desktop of course. Some times i turn my real time protection off and on because it messes up with some games and files i have to run. Now i noticed when i have it off am able to do anything normally but when it's on i get the error "You do not have permission to access this folder from owner" I've gone in the security tab and all the accounts listed have full control so idk what to do at this point.

Everything comes back all good, I don't really download anything to get any virus or malware

Below the switch to turn on Real Time Protection is a switch for Control Folder Access; is this switch turned on? if so turn it off.
