Question Can't enable Intel integrated graphics ?

This PC has a graphics card but i also want to enable the CPU's integrated graphics. When i try to install the motherboards Intel VGA driver (V27.20.100.9127) from the Asus website or directly from the Intel website, i get an error message saying the driver is not valid. What am i doing wrong?

No Intel graphics are listed in Device Manager under Display adapters, only NVIDIA, but i can not find any option in the motherboard BIOS to enable onboard graphics.

PSU - Corsair CX750M
Motherboard - Asus PRIME H570-PLUS

Boot drive - Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB
HDD - Seagate IronWolf 2TB
Monitor - LG Flatron W2442PA
OS - Windows 10 Professional 64bit

Did you set the igpu as the primary display? Refer to page 32 of the bios manual:

https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/...UF_GAMING_Intel_500_Series_BIOS_EM_WEB_EN.pdf

I am not sitting at the computer right now (it's my mothers PC) but i believe i tried that option. It was originally set to "Auto" and i tried switching to PEG, but that did not help. Since the integrated Intel graphics does not appear in Device Manager, there is no alternative to the NVIDIA GPU.

It could be that the manual is contradicting itself since it says select cpu or peg or pcie and then says options are Auto, peg or pcie. As a last resort you may have to remove the gpu and force it to rely on the igpu until after the drivers are installed.

Yes, i did find the manual a bit unclear. This problem started when a recent Windows update caused the PC to boot to a blank screen, no video at all, so i rolled back the update and the Nvidia card started working again as normal. I had previously assumed if there was a problem with the video card i could just switch the HDMI cable to the motherboard back-panel and the Intel graphics would already be working, but that was and still is not the case. At this point i think removing the graphics card is my only option.
