Can't enable multi-core

My laptop is slower than 1997 Pentium, even I'm having hardware from 2010.
the problem is i can't enable multi-core from BIOS,if enabled i can't boot.
stuck at BSOD reporting uncorrectable hardware error.When disabled multi-core,i can boot,but randomly restart every 3 minutes with BSOD reporting hardware malfunction.What should i do?

If I had that problem I would get a new laptop. What laptop do you have and how old is it? Hardware doesn't last forever.

Toshiba Satellite L510,4 years maybe,Core 2 Duo T6600,ATI Mobility Radeon. I have been searching for the solution for month, maybe this problem is caused by overheat problem i had faced before? I'm not gonna ask my parents for a new laptop anytime soon.
