I've tried all of that except for changing the keyboard. I dont have any PS2 keysboards. When i clear the CMOS its says click F12 to run setup, but when i do that it instantly enters windows. The DEL key is the usual one to use(sometimes F2)
As soon as you press power on, repeatedly hit the del key as fast as you can.
Another possibility is that your keyboard is not being recognized.
Can you try a different connection like a ps/2 port or a usb 2.0 port.
Your motherboard manual may have some info on this.
The bios setup will have a timer during which it will recognize del/F2 before proceeding to load windows.
That can be even zero, but if you have cleared the cmos, you should have a reasonable time(perhaps 2 seconds) in which to press del.
Changing the keyboard fixed the issue! Thank you so much! The DEL key is the usual one to use(sometimes F2)
