Hey,
I recently bought a new ssd and 2tb hdd to replace my current 1tb hdd, and i cloned the data from it onto the new hard drive, that created a 1tb partition, and left the extra as unallocated space. When i went into disk management to extend the volume to fill the rest of the space, it said that i had to change it to a dynamic disk, so i did, but then it didnt extend into the extra 1tb, and whenever i press extend and get it to fill even as little as 1 gb, it comes up saying that there isnt enough space on my drive. Any help would be much appreciated.

Solution
If it is a windows 10 installation it has an extra partition (recovery) after the big main partition you want to extend, you can't extend a partition by skipping another partition...
You will have to move the small partition to the very end of the drive (or just delete it) so there is continuous space right after the main partition you want to extend.
