Hi.
I was installing Linux as second os and split my drive in partitions.
After 2 hours (and installing linux) I can't extend my primary drive into the space thats left. I right click and "extend" button is grey.
PLEASE HELP I WANT MY 100GB BACK

You can only expand to unallocated space directly next to the partition you are trying to expand. Before trying anything though you should back up. Here are steps to fix it in most cases:

1) Verify the partitions you want to keep: For Windows 8/10 you will want the 100mb+ System Reserved partition in front of your OS partition, and then your OS partition. Sometimes you will have a recovery partition, and that should be kept as-is

Hi there ArthurST,

It would be really helpful if you can provide a screenshot of your Disk Management.
In order to extend a partition, you need to have some unallocated space. Do you have any? In case you do, and the extend option is grayed out, you will need to use some third party partition management tool.
It is always a good idea to back up your data before dealing with partitions.

2) From the Disk management, delete the partitions you don't want (linux partitions) by choosing "Delete Volume" when you right click on the unwanted partition.
3) If your partitions met the condition stated above, you should be able to extend the partition
