I have a Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard, and it all ready has its own graphics card. I need help and information on how to set my graphics card as the main one, instead of the motherboards

I am using this graphics card XFX Double D FX-797G-TDFC - Radeon HD 7970 1050MHz 3G DDR5 384-Bit PCI Express 3.0 HDMI DVI DisplayPort Video Card - FX-797G-TDFC

The switch from onboard video to the PCIe Card should be done automatically by simply connecting the video cable to the PCIe card... if the monitor doesn't get video the first time, restart the computer a second time and if the switch is not done automatically, reattach the video cable to the motherboard video port > boot the computer > enter the BIOS > find the Video settings > and switch video from onboard (IGFX or similar term) to PCI/PCIe... Windows should also switch from onboard to PCIe video automatically.
(On old motherboards and up to Windows XP you had to configure the card manually in both BIOS and Windows).
Will try looking up in your motherboard's manual for the BIOS setting for more specific indications.
