Hi,

Trying to reinstall Windows 10 64 bit on a 120 GB sandisk ssd ultra II and want to run in AHCI to get more speed. When I go to the ASRock UFEI I cant find any setting where I can change my SATA mode or enable AHCI.Although there is a setting that references AHCI and states that AHCI must be turned on for it work, so it must be supported on the mobo. Yes, I have read the manual but cant find anything on SATA modes or AHCI. Although if someone wants to look at it here is the link:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-HDV/?cat=Manual
Thanks Speshul_

I am ASRock TSD Danny.

About AHCI mode option, our default BIOS setting is already “AHCI” mode.
Because Intel H110 chipset only support AHCI mode, there is no additional option about SATA mode under BIOS.
So your HDD is working at AHCI mode already.

About SATA specification, please refer to product specifications from link.
(Path: Expansion / Connectivity -> Storage)

About SSD speed up question, we provide few ways for you to verify.
1. Please test the storage speed with clean OS.
2. Please change another SATA cable and SATA port for verify.
3. If possible, please test your SSD on another system to double-check the performance.
