Can't find ASUS VG248QE G-Sync upgrade kit

Let me start by saying that I don't have a whole lot of money so I try to treat myself to something once a year out of my tax refund.

That said, last year I chose the ASUS VG248QE monitor because of it's upgrade to Nvidia G-Sync capabilities. I had planned on waiting until this year to actually do the upgrade, but wouldn't you know, I can't find any DIY upgrade kits for purchase. So now I'm kind of stuck with this monitor that doesn't really have the one feature I actually wanted to begin with. (It's still a nice monitor, don't get me wrong, but I was looking forward to G-Sync which is why I bought it to begin with.)

I guess my question is, does anybody know a place where you can still buy the upgrade kits or are they all history? Thanks in advance.

You should list what country you're in when looking for a place to buy something.

But in this case, for what I believe was for a limited time only, Nvidia allowed you to buy the G-Sync kit directly from them for $200, so I'd definitely give them a call.

Thanks for the response. I will try to give them a call. I fear that ship has sailed, though. I'm doubting they have any left from what little I've found online. It sucks, but such is life. lol

***Update***

For those who may stumble upon this thread, I contacted Nvidia and they confirmed it, the DIY upgrade kits for the ASUS VG248QE are no longer, nor will they ever be, available. They are done with them and G-Sync comes only pre-installed in monitors now. It's too bad, but it is what it is.
