I recently reset my computer, my computer was then working fine until i started to experience this black screen issue where after a certain amount of time the screen would turn black. I then restarted my computer quickly to see if that would fix it.... and it didn't if anything it made it worse. Then when I booted up my computer there was a black screen with white text saying "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" I then just used Ctrl+Alt+Delete so i can quick restart to go into the BIOS by pressing F2. Then when that loads I can see that my boot priority list no longer has my HDD, I can't find it on the computer and i've unplugged it, used different SATA cables in different SATA ports and nothing works. I managed to get it to pop up in the SATA information tab (Using 'ASUS UEFI BIOS Utility' btw) but I can't get it to appear in the boot priority list or the boot override. I used to have 3 Boot options now there are only two and the one that is no longer there is my HDD, i've attached picture to help visualise my situation. The HDD seen in the pictures is the one that is usually seen under boot priority and it is not there im not sure why. If it helps the HDD is under 'SATA6G_1' but it is grey and well.... says 'Dark-gray' next to it....? tried searching for it but found nothing, any help im sure will be extremely useful and appreciated. Thank you

This is such a common problem and there is no obvious solution. Another member says the drive shows in boot priority but not on the the SATA Information column. It does not boot either.
It appears the lost drive held the OS and you have another drive which does boot. Then retrieve all the data you care about from the missing drive and reinstall windows on it..
