a friend of mine brought me a laptop saying that she forgot the password but wants to restore the files saved on the desktop.
So i took out the hdd and plugged it in my pc with sata-usb adaptor. I went to D:/Users/Username and looked for the Desktop folder but it's missing.
So i entered the Links folder and found Desktop, clicked on it and the first time i was able to access her Desktop folder and saved a few file. However the second time i did this it sent me on my Desktop.
I tried typing shell:UsersFileFolder but clicking on Desktop also sends on my pc Desktop, not the one on D drive.
Any suggestion to access Desktop on D drive?
