This is odd. I have a i5-9600K and a MSI Z390A Pro motherboard. For initial OS install, setup and such, I'm still using the iGPU for graphics. Both CPU and board were bought retail from the Egg, as were all the other components.
Yet, the Intel driver from MSI's website won't install. Nor will the correct driver direct from Intel. This is the error message I see.
But W10 somehow managed to install an Intel driver from its database. (although probably not the latest) I know there has been some kind of change in types of drivers that the latest W10 OS requires, but I thought I got the right one.

I'm going to be using a discrete card anyway, so this isn't hindering my use of the machine. But it is a bit disturbing to not be able to install an Intel graphics driver for an Intel iGPU. Does anyone know why this is happening?
